This article I found on the BBC goes along with what we've been talking about in class. I thought it was pretty interesting. It says some jobs are coming back, but the wages are much lower than they used to be.
I find it interesting that what drove this insourcing was what the US factories considered to be "pure competitiveness". They stated that business came back because the US can make this product at home for about a tenth of the labor used in China. Furthermore, the workers in the Kentucky factory believe they are more efficient, waste less time, and redesign it so its a better product. Seeing as manufacturing jobs are growing concern within US politics, I wonder if more insourcing of foreign production will become a emerging trend in the next couple of months
